Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quantum Dispatch website, mobile experiences, and related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Quantum Dispatch Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing tickets, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Note: This document is provided as a template example. Before going live you should have it reviewed by a qualified solicitor and confirm compliance with the Gambling Act 2005 and Gambling Commission guidance.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register or enter any raffle.
- You must be a resident of the United Kingdom unless a specific raffle states otherwise.
- You must register using accurate, current, and complete information.
- Each person may hold only one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
- Our employees, contractors, and their immediate families may be excluded from certain draws.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, show signs of fraudulent activity, or are required to be closed by law.
3. Buying Tickets & Entries
- Each raffle has a fixed ticket price, a maximum number of tickets, and a stated closing time.
- Tickets are allocated once payment is confirmed. An entry is only valid once payment has cleared.
- Where a per-person ticket limit applies, it will be shown on the raffle page and enforced at checkout.
- We reserve the right to void entries obtained through error, fraud, or technical malfunction.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes. By completing a purchase you authorise us to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method.
5. Draws & Winner Selection
- Winners are selected at random from all valid entries after the raffle closes.
- The draw mechanism is designed to be verifiable; details are published on each completed raffle page.
- Winners are notified by email and/or account notification within 7 days of the draw.
- If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 30 days, we may redraw or award an alternative prize of equivalent value.
6. Prizes
Prizes are as described on the relevant raffle page. Unless expressly stated, prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Where a cash alternative is offered, it will be stated on the raffle page. We are not responsible for manufacturer warranties on physical prizes beyond delivering the item as described.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Because entries relate to a time-limited prize draw, the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once a draw has taken place. If we cancel a raffle before the draw (for example, if a minimum number of tickets is not sold), all entrants will be refunded the amount they paid for their tickets in that raffle.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use automated tools, bots, or scripts to purchase tickets;
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Platform;
- use the Platform for money laundering or any unlawful purpose;
- impersonate another person or provide false information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Our total liability in connection with any raffle is limited to the amount you paid to enter that raffle.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
