Terms & Conditions

No purchase necessary.

You can enter our prize draws completely free of charge — online or by post. See Section 9 for full details. All entries, regardless of method, have an equal chance of winning.

[COMPANY NAME] ("Promoter", "we", "us", "our"), with company number [REGISTERED NUMBER] and registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS], operates online prize draws at this website (the "Platform"). We run prize draws where the outcome is determined entirely by chance, and where entrants may choose between a paid ticket route and a free entry route (each a "Draw", together the "Draws").

1. Applicability & Acceptance

By creating an account, entering a Draw, purchasing tickets, or otherwise using the Platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us on these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply whenever you register an account, enter any Draw, make a purchase, or otherwise access the Platform.

Individual Draws may have supplementary rules published on the relevant Draw page. In the event of any conflict, those supplementary rules take precedence over these Terms for that specific Draw.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes in applicable law. Where we make material changes, we will attempt to provide reasonable advance notice via the Platform or by email. We recommend you check the Platform periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must close your account and stop using the Platform.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register or enter any Draw.
  • You must be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom. Residents of certain territories may be excluded by specific Draw rules.
  • You must register using accurate, current, and complete information.
  • No employee, officer, director, consultant, contractor, or agent of the Promoter, nor any relative or member of their household, may enter or participate in any Draw, whether directly or indirectly. For these purposes a "relative" includes any spouse, partner, parent, child, step-child, or sibling. Any entry made in breach of this clause shall be void.
  • By using the Platform you confirm you are not breaching any law in your jurisdiction. We do not intend the Platform to be used in jurisdictions where such activities are prohibited. You must not use the Platform from any of the following prohibited jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Russia, or any other jurisdiction where applicable law prohibits participation in prize draws.
  • Where we discover any breach of eligibility, we reserve the right to void your entries and reclaim any prizes, without liability.

4. Licence to Use the Platform

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for your own non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Platform, nor attempt to transfer, sell, or sublicense it. We may suspend or terminate this licence immediately if you breach these Terms.

5. Access & Availability

We will use reasonable skill and care in operating the Platform, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components. We reserve the right to carry out maintenance, fix bugs, implement technical changes, or improve security at any time, with or without prior notice. We may also withdraw, suspend, or alter any feature of the Platform and will attempt to provide advance notice where reasonably practicable.

If, due to hardware, software, or human error, a prize is awarded to the wrong entrant, we reserve the right to reclaim that prize and award it to the correct entrant. If you receive a prize in error, you must notify us promptly, take reasonable care of the prize while it is in your possession, and return it to us in the same condition within 14 calendar days of receiving our return instructions. We will cover your reasonable return delivery costs.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or close an account where we consider it necessary to ensure the integrity of our Draws or the fair treatment of users, including immediately and without notice where you have breached these Terms.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to, and not to assist or encourage others to:

  • engage in any fraudulent, improper, or illegal activity, including collusion or cheating;
  • provide incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading information when registering or entering a Draw;
  • create or use multiple accounts, or allow another person to use your account;
  • interfere with, attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or any related systems, or introduce viruses or other malicious material;
  • use any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper functioning of the Platform;
  • use any artificial intelligence tools, data-mining software, or automated scraping methods when accessing the Platform;
  • collect or store personally identifiable information from other users without consent;
  • use the Platform in breach of clause 3, including using a VPN to disguise your location;
  • engage in abuse or harassment of our staff; or
  • make or post any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.

7. Your Account

To use the Platform you must register an account. You may only hold one account; if you open multiple accounts, we may close the additional ones and void any associated prizes. Your account must be for your own personal use. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You must keep your contact information accurate and up to date. You have the right to close your account at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 22.

We provide responsible-play tools including spending limits, account time-outs, and account closure options. Details are available on our Responsible Raffling page.

An account with no login for 12 consecutive months will be considered inactive; any associated free-entry credits or promotional benefits will lapse from that date. After a further 12 months of inactivity (24 months total), the account will be placed in an archived status.

8. Entering Draws

8.1 General

Each Draw has a maximum number of entries, a stated Promotion Period, and may have supplementary rules published on its Draw page. We reserve the right to refuse or disqualify incomplete or non-compliant entries. If we have reasonable grounds to believe you have materially breached these Terms, your entries will be forfeited without refund. All entries become our property and will not be returned.

8.2 Free Online Entry

No purchase is necessary to enter any Draw. Each registered user is entitled to one (1) free online entry per Draw. To claim your free online entry:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant Draw page.
  3. Click "Enter for Free" and confirm your entry.

Your free online entry will be confirmed and visible in your account immediately. Each free online entry has exactly the same chance of winning as any paid ticket. Free online entries count toward the per-Draw entry limit.

8.3 Postal Entry

Where a Draw permits Postal Entry, you may choose to participate by sending a postcard or letter instead of, or in addition to, using the online free entry or purchasing paid tickets, up to the maximum entry limit for that Draw.

Other than the cost of postage, there is no requirement to pay to enter using the Postal Entry route. Each Postal Entry has exactly the same chance per entry of winning as paid tickets or online free entries.

To enter by post, you must have an active account at the time your entry is processed, and all details on your postcard or letter must match your account. Send a clear handwritten postcard or letter (mechanically produced entries are not permitted) to the address set out below, including the following information:

  1. full name;
  2. address (including city and postcode);
  3. telephone number;
  4. your registered account email address;
  5. the name of the Draw you wish to enter.

Postal entry address: [POSTAL ENTRY ADDRESS — TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH]

  • First or second-class postage must be paid for each individual entry. Postcards and letters must be stamped and delivered by a postal service; entries placed directly through the letterbox will not be accepted.
  • Each postcard or letter must be received by us within the Draw's Promotion Period. Any entry with a postage stamp date outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
  • A maximum of one (1) Postal Entry per postcard or letter received. Bulk entries within the same envelope will not be accepted. You may send multiple separate postcards, each counting as one entry, up to the maximum entry limit.
  • You will not be entered into the Draw until we confirm your entry by email or it is registered in your account. Please ensure your contact details on the postcard exactly match your account.
  • All valid Postal Entries will be processed as soon as reasonably possible, but on business days only.
  • Any Postal Entries that fail to comply with all of the requirements above will be considered void.
  • All valid Postal Entries will be included in the corresponding prize draw alongside valid paid tickets and free online entries.

8.4 Paid Tickets

Paid tickets may be purchased online via the Draw page. The ticket price is shown on the Draw page and is fixed server-side — we never accept client-submitted prices. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You will not be deemed entered into the Draw until payment has cleared and your ticket(s) appear in your account.

9. Entry Limits

Each Draw specifies a maximum number of entries per person ("Entry Limit"), shown on the Draw page. Entries obtained via free online entry, Postal Entry, and purchased tickets all count toward your Entry Limit for that Draw. Once you reach the Entry Limit, no further entries of any type will be accepted for that Draw.

10. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). By completing a purchase you authorise us to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method. Once a ticket has been used to enter a Draw, no refund, credit, or exchange shall be made in respect of it, except as provided in Section 18.

11. Promotion Periods

Each Draw runs for a stated Promotion Period with a specified closing date and time, shown on the Draw page in UK local time (GMT/BST as applicable). Entries received after the closing time will not be counted.

Where a Draw permits Postal Entry, the draw date will be no earlier than the second business day following the end of the Promotion Period, to allow sufficient time for postcards to be received and processed.

12. Draw Process & Winner Selection

Winners are selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. We use a provably fair cryptographic draw mechanism: before a Draw opens, we generate a random server seed and publish its cryptographic hash as a public commitment. After the Promotion Period closes, we reveal the original server seed. The winning entry is then determined by combining the server seed with a publicly verifiable client seed using HMAC-SHA256. Anyone can independently verify the draw using the published seeds on the completed Draw page.

All valid entries — free online, postal, and paid — are included in the draw pool with equal weighting. A draw certificate is maintained for each completed Draw.

13. Winner Notification

We will make reasonable attempts to contact the potential winner using the telephone number and/or email address registered to their account. It is the entrant's sole responsibility to ensure their contact details are accurate and up to date.

A potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize if: (a) we are unable to contact them within 5 calendar days of the draw; (b) they fail to confirm acceptance of the prize within 30 calendar days of the date on which the prize is visible in their account or we first successfully contact them; (c) they are disqualified for breaching these Terms; or (d) they fail to provide required verification information within 10 calendar days of being notified as a potential winner.

Upon forfeiture, we may, at our sole discretion: (i) select an alternative winner; (ii) roll over or reallocate the prize to a future Draw; or (iii) permanently void the prize without obligation to award or substitute it.

14. Winner Verification

Potential winners may be required to provide documentary evidence to verify their identity, age, and/or eligibility before any prize is paid or delivered. We may also require photographic evidence. Failure to meet these requirements within the stated timeframe may result in disqualification.

All communications between us and a potential winner or winner, including details of the prize, are strictly confidential. Winners must not disclose prize details to any third party without our prior written consent, except where required by law.

15. Prizes

Prizes are as described on the relevant Draw page. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Where a cash alternative is advertised, it will be stated on the Draw page; unless the Draw page provides otherwise, the cash alternative represents 70% of the UK RRP of the prize (rounded to the nearest £1,000).

If, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value.

Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or expenses related to accepting and using their prize, except where we expressly state otherwise. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider, manufacturer, or supplier.

16. Storage & Delivery

We will store a confirmed prize free of charge for up to 30 calendar days after notifying the winner. If the winner fails to accept delivery within that period, they will forfeit the prize without entitlement to any alternative or compensation.

Where a prize is not capable of standard courier delivery, the winner is responsible for making their own collection arrangements. All costs associated with such collection are the winner's responsibility unless we expressly state otherwise.

17. Publicity & Winner List

We may publish the winning entrant's name and county of residence on the Platform and in related marketing material, in order to demonstrate that a valid prize has been awarded for each Draw. This is a requirement of the Advertising Standards Authority ("ASA").

If you do not wish your name and county to be published, you may notify us in writing at the address in Section 22. We will consider your objection against our obligations under UK data protection law; however, even where we agree to withhold publication, we may still be required to provide your details to the ASA, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement agencies upon request.

A list of winners and their county of residence for each Draw is available for 1 month after the close of each Draw by emailing [email protected].

18. Cancellation & Refunds

Because tickets relate to a time-limited prize draw, the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once a Draw has taken place. If we cancel a Draw before it takes place, all paid entrants will receive a full refund of the amount paid for their tickets in that Draw. Free entries require no refund.

We reserve the right to extend, cancel, terminate, or suspend a Draw at any time if, for any reason, any aspect of the Draw is not capable of running as planned — including as a result of technical failure, fraud, tampering, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control that affects the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Draw. We will endeavour to provide prior notice where possible.

19. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of applicable law.

Subject to the above, our maximum liability to you in connection with any single incident or series of connected incidents is limited as follows:

  • where our liability relates to your participation in a Draw and you have won a prize, it will be limited to the cash value of that prize;
  • where our liability arises from a failure to process your entry due to a technical fault, your sole remedy shall be a replacement entry into a comparable Draw; and
  • in all other circumstances, £100 (one hundred pounds sterling).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or unforeseeable losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, or any loss arising from: computer, network, or software malfunctions; events beyond our reasonable control (including acts of God, war, pandemic, or regulatory changes); the acts or omissions of third-party service providers; or your own use or misuse of the Platform.

20. Your Personal Data

Any personal data you provide to us will be used to administer Draws, notify winners, and fulfil prizes. We will only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please read those documents carefully.

21. Accessibility

These Terms are available in alternative formats (for example, large print or plain-text versions) upon request. Please contact us using the details in Section 22. We are committed to making the Platform accessible in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

22. Complaints

If you have a complaint about any aspect of the Platform or a Draw, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a full response within 28 days. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer it to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") provider; we will provide details of the relevant provider upon request.
